Emmy-winning journalist, comedian, host, and creator of the “Manitowoc Minute,” Charlie Berens returns to Big Top Chautauqua as part of his Midwest Survival Guide Tour. Since the Wisconsin native began his viral Midwest comedic news series “Manitowoc Minute'' in 2017, he has amassed nearly 2 million Facebook Followers, toured across the United States selling out venues within minutes, and his sketch comedy videos have garnered hundreds of millions of views. A frequent collaborator with Funny or Die, he has been featured on FOX, CBS, MTV News, Variety, and CBS digital, and also hosts “Dark Side Of” on Investigation Discovery. Most recently, Berens became a New York Times bestselling author with the 2021 release of his book “The Midwest Survival Guide: How We Talk, Love, Work, Drink, and Eat . . . Everything with Ranch.” Berens will be joined by special guest Adam Greuel of Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, who together released their joint Bluegrass album titled, “Unthawed” in 2020.
