Join the Blue Canvas Orchestra, led by Musical Director Ed Willett, for a heartfelt evening full of holiday cheer. Ed will be joined by Molly Otis, Danielle Diamond, Phil Anich, Nate Bean and Tom Mitchell for a festive compilation of holiday songs that will range from traditional tunes to new songs, stories, and comedy.

This year you'll have the option to choose a dinner before the show— just order the dinner package and choose your Chef Kirk-created meal. Or, skip the meal and just order a cocktail to enjoy during the show. There is nothing like coming home to the comfort & joy of Big Top’s Backstage with the Blue Canvas Orchestra and all of your Big Top friends.


Holiday Food Drive! Bring non-expired canned goods or non-perishable food items for a chance to win a Four Show Lawn Pass!


Dinner Seating Times

7:00PM Performances: 5:30, 6:00, or 6:30PM
1:00PM Performance: 11:30AM, 12:00, and 12:30PM

Patrons will be contacted by the Box Office regarding seating times.

The Backstage

Big Top's new year-round performance space is located at the Big Top Box Office & Giftshop at the juction of Hwy 13 and County Hwy J at the gateway to Bayfield. During a unique night out at The Backstage you can enjoy live entertainment, drinks, speciality cocktails, and a unique menu of shareable plates. Ticketing Policies & Fees

*Plus applicable taxes and fees

  • 5.5% State and local sales tax
  • $3 Facility Fee per ticket (facility fee is used for tent, building, and grounds needs)
  • 2% Handling Fee per order, up to a maximum of $8
  • No refunds or exchanges for any shows


Ticket holders and attendees are subject the following conditions:

  • Attendees grant unrestricted rights & licenses for use of their likeness in any form of public broadcast and production, and for promotional purposes
  • Big Top Chautauqua reserves the right to refuse admission or evict anyone from the venue premises due to disorderly behavior without issuing a refund.
  • Big Top Chautauqua reserves the right to search all persons, packages, bags, and other items entering venue grounds and/or other properties owned by Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua. The safety of our guests, volunteers, staff, and artists are top priority.
