Them Coulee Boys craft a brand of Americana that blends folk, punk, bluegrass, and rock & roll. They sing their conversational songs in 4-part harmony, often with a banjo stomp and rhythm section punch that drives the audience onto the dance floor and into community. Their trusty van has propelled them thousands of miles across the country and into the hearts of strangers, who tend to leave each show as family.

Soren Staff and Beau Janke, who both grew up amidst a stretch of glacial melt-carved river valleys in the upper Midwest, and more often than not could be found with an instrument in hand, became fast friends and formed their electric music partnership, after having met as counselors at a bible camp in northern Wisconsin in 2011. The duo played their first gigs as the rough-around-the-edges folk/rock/Americana outfit Them Coulee Boys in 2013. The additions of Jens Staff on mandolin, Neil Kraus on guitar & bass, and Stas Hable on drums helped to grow the band into the rollicking outfit it is today.

With three full-length albums and an EP behind them, including 2019’s Die Happy, they released their fourth studio album Namesake in 2021. The new album feels familial, like old friends with no need for small talk. There are moments of power and punch, balanced with an intimacy only felt between the ones we love. The ten-song collection spans from pure and genuine ballads to a leaping, countrified take on rock and roll. Namesake finds Them Coulee Boys following a new trajectory, combining their signature take on folk-grass and Americana with comfort on electric instruments and playing rock and roll. The record lives and breathes. It’s both intimate and bombastic.

Tin Can Gin was born and brewed upon the shores of Lake Superior near Duluth by childhood pals Harrison Olk and Trevor Marrin. Along with mandolinist Bryan Nelson, the trio created the trademark TCG tunes that are fan favorites to this very day. In the autumn of 2011 the group was summoned to the stage at their first gig as "Tin Can Gin". As time passed the band added fiddle virtuoso Nori Perrine and Neil Krause on stand-up bass to round out the Tin Can Gin sound.

That unique sound draws from each members musical upbringing. Harrison's traditional bluegrass banjo, Trevor's creative song writing and guitar work, Bryan's fast folk pickin' mandolin, Neil's solid bass backing all wrapped and complimented with a sprinkle of Nori's Celtic fiddle subtleties. The combination of music and vocal gymnastics creates an experience in sound that is sure to tickle your musical palate while you tap your toes in unbridled pleasure. This hurricane stew of music, vocals and melody explodes in a style as bitter and sweet as the best IPAs out there today.

With her powerful vocals, compelling storytelling, and unforgettable performances, Molly Brandt is making waves in the independent music scene. Drawing inspiration from songwriting legends like Dolly Parton and Tom T. Hall, her songs weave tales of heartache, resilience and triumph, delving into blue-collar struggles, dive bar revelries, long car rides, and cold-blooded revenge. With a musical background that includes stints as a classical pianist and jazz vocalist, Brandt found her songwriting voice when she turned to roots music, using a tapestry of Americana styles to tell her vivid, gritty stories.

She released her first singles in 2022, and was soon performing at venues and festivals across the Midwest. Brandt captivates audiences with her fiery delivery, memorable attire and evocative lyrics. Her 2023 debut album, Surrender to the Night, blends honky-tonk, countrypolitan and alt-rock influences, and she returned to the studio in early 2024. Her newest singles of 2024, including "Daughter of the Oil Tycoon" and "Mr. Texas" just begin to scratch the surface of what is coming up next for Molly. While we wait to hear the new music, one thing we can count on is that it’s going to be unforgettable. “Take a ride with me,” she sings in one song that could be an advertisement for her own music. “Light me up, you know you can’t resist / ’Cause I’m like propane and cigarettes.”
